Uma

Uma is a 1972 Westfalia. Her name came about because, like in the film, she was resurrected from near death. After failing her MOT in 1996 she was being used as a log store and habitat for all sorts of interesting wildlife. When we bought her in 2005 she was in a pretty bad shape but after replacing her bottom six inches, fitting new doors, footsteps, front panel, rear wheel-arches, corners, battery trays, etc, etc she was reborn as the sexy yellow gorgeousness that she is now.

Uma is has just come out of the workshop (May 2010) with a new respray and a brand new interior. She looks particularly scrummy. Book her now if you want to see her at her shiny best!

Uma has a large double bed downstairs and a bed upstairs suitable for 2 small children or a teenager. She also comes with the usual facilities we offer (see bottom of page) included in the price. Her CD player does not have an aux for ipod. You can choose any extras you may fancy when you book your van.

During the peak summer period (22 July to 26th August 2011) Uma is available for weekly hires only: Friday 2.30pm - Friday 10am.

Sleeps 2 adults plus 2 small children or one large teenager. (In addition, Uma can be fitted with a child cab bunk which supplies a hammock for a child 3 to 7 years old.) Fitted with 5 seat belts: 3 lap and diagonal and 2 lap belts.
