Uma

Uma is a right hand drive 1972 Westfalia. Her name came about because, like in the film, she was resurrected from near death. After failing her MOT in 1996, she was being used as a log store and habitat for all sorts of interesting wildlife. When we bought her in 2005 she was in a pretty bad shape but after replacing her bottom six inches, fitting new doors, footsteps, front panel, rear wheel-arches, corners, battery trays, etc, etc she was reborn as the sexy yellow gorgeousness that she is now.

This year Uma will be celebrating her 40th Birthday!

Uma has a large double bed downstairs and a bed upstairs suitable for 2 small children or a teenager. She also comes with the usual facilities we offer (see bottom of page) included in the price. Her CD player now has an aux for ipod. You can choose any extras you may fancy when you book your van.

Sleeps 2 adults plus 2 small children or one large teenager. (In addition, Uma can be fitted with a child cab bunk which supplies a hammock for a child 3 to 7 years old.) Fitted with 5 seat belts: 4 lap and diagonal belts.
