We have added to our fleet 3 x VW
Type 4s – a modern
4 berth alternative to the older 1970s Type 2s. These vans
are slightly more boxy shaped but are still small and compact.
They are equipped to the same high standard as our Type 2s
and still offer Volkswagen’s exceptional reliability.
Where they win over the older vans is on long distance driving
with turbo diesel engines returning 35 mpg, power steering,
servo brakes, five speed gearboxes and modern heating; they
make the longer English journeys and European travel more comfortable
and enjoyable.
These vans are 4 berth (2 double beds)
with all new modern interiors; Smev Italian smoked glass cookers
and grills, sinks and new fridges. In addition we supply a
free standing tent, mains hook-up, camping gaz, cooking equipment,
crockery, cutlery, cycle rack, extra table and chairs. They
also come with unlimited mileage, free insurance for the first
driver, and breakdown cover.
